Why is Godaddy Promoting Twitter?

As I was managing my domain names (and purchasing a few new ones) I was quite surprised to be presented with this screen:

Why is Godaddy promoting Twitter?
Why is GoDaddy promoting Twitter?

Being told I should signup for Twitter did not fit my DNS modifying workflow plans. Though since GoDaddy is (supposedly) tailored to beginner users it may make more sense.

What is in this for GoDaddy?

On a side note: I really like Twitter’s About Page

I was thinking the same thing last week while modifying some domains in GoDaddy.

Just seems like an odd place to be plugging Twitter.

BTW, @Tony I like your site design. Nice work!
