Join the product team at ConvertKit

ConvertKit is growing insanely quickly and we need talented designers and developers to join our product team. Want to join us?

We work remotely and judge success based on quality and speed rather than spending a certain number of hours sitting in a chair. As a company we value simplicity and making products easy to use. And we mean it. I can demo the entire product end-to-end in 5 minutes.

That means we can focus on improving what we’ve already built and perfecting each interaction.

We want to do this with a small team (right now we have just 4 developers supporting 5,000+ customers) of talented people. Having the right team is far better than just hiring as fast as possible to support growth.

Both of these are full-time positions, but we will start with a contract project to make sure you work well with our team.

Sound good? Take a look at the specifics below:

UI/UX Designer

To be perfect for this role you should have plenty of experience designing web applications. Both from a user experience perspective (flow, wireframes, etc) and creating a beautiful interface. You should be able to code at least the front-end markup for your designs rather than handing them off to a developer. Experience with Git, Ruby/Rails, and JavaScript is a plus.

As the only designer in the company, you’ll also help with the marketing site and other marketing projects.

Tools and Technologies: HTML, CSS, Photoshop, InVision.

Apply here. Include a link to your Dribbble profile.

Full-Stack Developer

To be perfect for this role you should be able to quickly develop features in an existing Rails web application. It’s important that you don’t need much hand holding to get started or exact details spelled out. TDD should be second nature for you. Also design isn’t someone else’s job. Even though we have a designer on the team you should care about shipping quality features rather than just doing your part and handing it off.

Technologies: Ruby, Rails, and Angular.

Apply here. Include a link to your Github profile.

For both positions we offer:

  • Competitive salaries
  • Work from anywhere
  • 3 weeks paid vacation
  • 9 paid holidays
  • 3 sick days
  • $1,000 yearly vacation bonus

Looking forward to talking with you!
