Hey, thanks for visiting my site. I’m Nathan Barry.
I design software, write about anything that interests me, and teach other people to design. I recently published The App Design Handbook, a guide to designing beautiful iOS applications. I’ve created a few iOS apps for myself including OneVoice, Fluent, and Commit. OneVoice is probably the most interesting, but Commit is still my favorite. The most days in a row I’ve achieved is writing 1,000 words a day for 230+ days in a row. You should give Commit a try.
Legend is my software design company where I release my apps and do consulting work. Contact me there if you have a project you would like to hire me for.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling, snowboarding, ballroom dancing, and especially spending time with my wife and son.
